A white Lisbon type but with distinctive stiff upright leaves which shed water very effectively, making Eiffel less susceptible to disease at difficult times of the season. Slow to bulb, especially in the long days of summer. A very versatile variety, which although predominantly for spring and summer production, will overwinter with careful crop husbandry. An ideal companion for Ramrod, especially during the summer cropping period.
